Downtown Deadhorse, Alaska. Modular homes were attached to make these offices and housing for the oilfield workers. This is the only hotel for non-oilfield personnel. Meals were serverd cafeteria style, and the food was exceptionally good. Fresh fish, meats, vegetables, and fruit are flown in daily to feed the workers. The workers are on 14 days, 12 hour shifts, then off 14 days. The company flies them to Fairbanks or Anchorage on chartered Alaska Airline 737s.
